Cobra Kai Renewed for Sixth and Final Season on Netflix
New Season Will Be the Biggest Yet, Say Executive Producers
The popular Netflix series Cobra Kai has been renewed for a sixth and final season. The announcement was made by executive producers Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald in a letter to fans. "This has been an incredible journey so far, and we're so grateful to our fans for being with us every step of the way. We can't wait for you to see what we have in store for Season 6," the letter said.
Cobra Kai is a sequel to the Karate Kid films and follows the story of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) as they reopen their rival karate dojos. The show has been a critical and commercial success, with its fifth season debuting at number one on Netflix in over 90 countries.
No release date has been announced for the sixth season of Cobra Kai, but it is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
